17 + 18 + 19 décembre de 13h à 17h au studio bleu de l’Agora de la danse
Dans le cadre de COMPAGNONNAGE 24, Danièle Desnoyers propose un atelier sur le son en compagnie de la conceptrice sonore Nancy Tobin et de l’artiste en danse Anne Thériault.
Danièle Desnoyers et la conceptrice sonore Nancy Tobin entament en 1999 une collaboration artistique qui s’échelonnera sur plusieurs créations. Concerto grosso pour corps et surface métallique, pour laquelle la chorégraphe reçoit le Prix d’auteur des rencontres chorégraphiques internationales Seine-Saint-Denis en 2000, et Duos pour corps et instruments, sont sans doute les deux œuvres les plus marquantes de leur collaboration. Développée en résidence au Musée d’art contemporain en 2003, Duos pour corps et instruments fascinera par l’usage de l’effet Larsen liant le mouvement à une production sonore en direct. Les invitations internationales se multiplieront et l’œuvre fera aussi l’objet d’une recréation en 2014 impliquant une nouvelle génération d’interprètes.
Dans le cadre de cet atelier sur le son, Danièle Desnoyers et Nancy Tobin partageront plus spécifiquement les enjeux liés à l’usage de l’effet Larsen tel que développé dans Duos pour corps et instruments. L’artiste en danse Anne Thériault partagera de son côté son expérience physique et viscérale de la pièce, puisqu’elle a participé à sa recréation en 2014 et poursuit actuellement une démarche où le son occupe une place centrale.
Ce deuxième volet de COMPAGNONNAGE 24 est réalisé en collaboration avec l’Agora de la danse et en partenariat avec la Caisse Desjardins de la Culture.
