La Brigade questions the conventions of artistic creation and performance. The collective initiated their first performance as part of RIPA 2023, investigating a single space (a parking lot) over a long period of time, with the different states of presence in a work situation as the creative motor.
They follow up their approach by venturing into unknown places in search of somatic connections along a wide trajectory. Like a performative road trip, their route is set by a random mileage: this will generate several situations – wandering rituals that (re)give meaning to common / passing / deserted spaces.
This spring edition of COMPAGNONNAGE 24 is produced in partnership with Québecor and Atelier Pierre Thibault.
