WORLD PREMIERE
octobre 16 → 18 at l’Usine C

The work bears the stamp of a vital impulse, a dance that is both primal and avidly complex, where joy becomes an act of resistance. Eight performers are propelled into a scenic vortex from which emerges a profusion of bodies and sensibilities, confidently reflecting the uniqueness of each. The show intensely explores the dialogue between dancing bodies, Richard Wagner’s abyssal music, and the electroacoustic soundscapes of Montreal composer Ben Shemie, a long-time collaborator of Danièle Desnoyers.

“While everything in this piece is made of flesh, the music, both pulsating and visceral, aims to reach the viewer’s senses in a different way. ”
