It is with an approach shaped by two years of latency, resilience and questions of identity and art that creator Lila Geneix dives into this research laboratory. With the Abracadabra project (in Aramaic, abracadabra means “let this thing be destroyed”), she wishes to break down images in order to bring forth new ones by offering a poetic and plurivocal look at the possible paths to and from historical events. Summoning performative practice, Lila explores the notion of ludism to build a playground in which performers respond to rules while defying the expectations. She wishes to release a plurality of meanings through the invocation of a collective imagination, moving towards a form of living fresco.
